If you want to visit volcanoes then drive to the northern part of the where the Arenal, an active volcano, can be viewed. The other two are located midpoint and towards the southern end of the country where there is a hot spring that is being visited by tourists year long. The most variegated forms of vegetation are located along and near the volcanoes, where the ashes from past eruptions actually make for a much fertilized soil. Costa Rica attracts tourists from all over the world who often find it exceptionally pleasing to soak up the sun on the beaches of this lovely island.

The best time to vacation in Costa Rica is between December and April which is the period of the dry season and May through November when they go through the rainy season. It is only a few miles from the equator, so select the right time to vacation here. Always be alert to any possible disasters and be wary about who you do and do not trust as it is easy to get lost foreign lands when out touring. It pays to do your homework about Costa Rica in advance to gather all relevant information and plan your visit accordingly.
