What is A Humidifier

Humidifiers are widely used in winters to reduce moisture in a room or the whole house. They are required during winters as continuous hot air would be responsible for making air dry. Due to which the quality of air is very uncomfortable and leads to various skin and health problems like dry nose, dry throat, lips etc. Some more disadvantages of dry air include peeling wallpaper, cracks in furniture and paint etc.

Humidifier

The most widely used humidifiers are Evaporative humidifiers. It has a wick, a water reservoir with a fan. Other than evaporative, humidifiers come in the form of vaporizers, ultrasonic humidifiers and impeller humidifiers. But sometimes it is very dangerous to use humidifiers. Some study has shown that the microorganisms emitted from the ultrasonic humidifiers can damage human cells very deeply. Minerals produced from the water tank into the air and microorganisms from still water in humidifier tanks.

Since there is very less information on the relationship between growth and dispersal of the microorganisms by humidifiers, Care and appropriate cleaning of these humidifiers may help in riding the microorganisms like mould and bacteria. There are several respiratory problems due to the inhalation of these microorganisms. Besides, it may lead to lung inflammation also. To protect everybody from the problems due to these microorganisms, it is the responsibility of every human to reduce the use of humidifiers.
